Continued Support Through the COVID-19 Epidemic
On April 7, we published an article on how we were hoping to support the efforts of clinical engineers on the front lines of the pandemic. As this first wave continues and changes, we wanted to reinvest in the relief efforts. Our department managers at Conquest Imaging, an MXR Imaging Company, continue to discuss concerns from clinical engineering departments. Everyone agrees that any level of anxiety we might be feeling as we shelter in place or practice social distancing, it still pales comparison to the stress of those working on the front lines of the health care system. Our objective is still to provide uninterrupted products and service support and possibly ease the burden of those working tirelessly to support this public health challenge and assure continuity of care.
Our Free Virtual Training Series launched in April when hundreds of clinical engineers participated. The training covered 3 popular course topics and received rave reviews. Below are the On-Demand Virtual classes currently offered. Each hour is worth 1 ACI CEU.

Although Shelter-in-Place orders have been modified and lifted, we are also offering day-long Virtual Ultrasound Classes, each worth 6-8 CEUs and are modifying the rest of our 2020 class schedule.
Triage & Point of Care System
Due to triage protocols and locations created in support of the pandemic, our Product Development/Purchasing team has added tablet ultrasound technology to its repertoire of systems. The Wisonic Piloter and Navi are now available for our Point-of-Care (POCUS) customers. Request portable units and tablets here.
Parts & Service Availability Continued
Our Parts Department and our Service Division have never stopped supporting clinical engineers nationwide. Unlike some companies, we do not foresee decreased availability of service, parts, or tech support. COVID-19 Supplies Page
As an MXR Imaging Company, we are still offering the MXR supplies and consumables specific to COVID-19 products page. This is where healthcare professionals can obtain supplies like probe sheaths, masks, gowns, and disinfectants. We have chosen only those items where we are confident there is ample inventory to fulfill orders.
Please know we are thinking of our clinical engineers who are still weathering the pandemic on the front lines. We can only hope our well-intentioned solutions have a small positive impact on them as they continue to effect the care for patients during this continued crisis.
